I have done a number of goal setting programs for corporations and for individuals. When I look at the individuals who succeed in achieving their career goals I see 3 major attitudes and behaviors: 1) They are coachable and willing to act on career advice. 2) They are driven by a time frame and communicate with me regularly. 3) They are both persistant and flexible in their career search willing to accept their second career choice if the first does not pan out.
